Here is a picture that was scanned from the 35mm slides that I was given over a year ago. It is a view of the campus from Riverside Drive in the 1950s. It looks to the Main Building and the Cross over the drive.

It is Fall on the campus of Davis. The leaves are changing to oranges, yellows, and reds. The students were on Fall Break a couple of weeks ago and now they are back in the swing of things as the semester continues to plunge forward. Keep them in your prayers.

The 2009-2010 semester of Davis College is about to begin. Today, (Saturday, August 22, 2009) I went over to the campus to get some pictures of the campus and to see some friends that are doing RA training. Today was the CPR/First Aid Training for the RAs. Thankfully the rain held off so I was able to get some pictures outside and more importantly on the roof of Chatlos. I was hoping to get some good pictures of the campus from a higher point of view. A few above are from the roof of Chatlos-Davis. As you can see from the first image, Davis College has been blessed by receiving two new vans to replace the older vans. Continue to keep the college in your prayers as a new semester is about to begin.

Isaiah: Free Course for Pastors (and anyone else)

This coming semester at Davis there will be a free class for Pastors, Deacons, Sunday School teachers, church leaders and anyone that would like to get a feel for a Davis College course. It will be taught by Dr. George Snyder (who we lovingly refer to as our Rabbi), the professor of Hebrew and Old Testament studies. It will be Monday evenings beginning August 31st and ending December 14th, from 6 - 8:30 PM.

Today (Thursday 16) and Tomorrow (Friday 17) are preview days for High School Juniors and Seniors. There was a good crowd as I visited for couple of hours this afternoon and evening. The Cafe was full of fun. I also got to take some pictures of the beautiful Fall Foliage on the campus and on the Knoll.
