Isaiah: Free Course for Pastors (and anyone else)

This coming semester at Davis there will be a free class for Pastors, Deacons, Sunday School teachers, church leaders and anyone that would like to get a feel for a Davis College course. It will be taught by Dr. George Snyder (who we lovingly refer to as our Rabbi), the professor of Hebrew and Old Testament studies. It will be Monday evenings beginning August 31st and ending December 14th, from 6 - 8:30 PM.

Tuesday starts a new semester at Davis

On Tuesday, January 13, 2009, Davis will start a new semester of a brand new year, 2009. Also the extension site in Miami, Florida will begin the following week on January 20, 2009. Dr. Pedrone said on the Davis website, "South Florida will now have access to accredited biblical higher education with a specialized emphasis upon ministry preparation. The courses offered at the Miami Teaching Sites of Davis College will complement the opportunities already available to learners in New York, and online learners around the world."

Keep all the new and returning students in your prayers as they come back amid the snow that has fallen today and will continue tomorrow.

New Look to the Davis Website

There is a new look to the Davis College website http://www.davisny.edu. Check it out today. There is even a video done by CGI communication company. Sharon O'Connor has done a great job with the website! Davis College is moving Forward in the mission to train the next generation of Christian leaders!
