Cartoon Squirrels in Davis College History

Aren't these two cartoons so cute! A little cat and a squirrel. I am not sure who created these for the 1951 Theologue. The squirrels have always been the "unofficial" Mascots/Icons of this school campus. Many people have enjoyed the little gray furry creatures for the years we have been here. Even when we were having our mascot competition in 2004 many people submitted ideas of the Tiny Fighting Squirrels. The tiny creatures will always have a special place in our hearts. Any memories of the squirrels on this campus from Alumni?
