Yesterday (Sunday, August 3, 2008) was the last day of the 24th annual Spiedie Fest in Binghamton. It was a great day. The day began with having a church service at the Main Stage as part of the Hope Tent. Hundreds of people attended and hundreds heard the Gospel. Evangelist Tim Lee (www.timlee.org) gave his testimony about having his legs severed by a land mine in Vietnam on March 8, 1971. 43 people accepted Christ in the morning and many seeds of the Gospel were planted. There was much going on in Hope Tent following with more music and drama. At 3 PM on the Main Stage there was a drama followed by Christian artist Rebecca St James. Two of her brothers(Joel and Luke) were also there performing with her as well as her band. It was a great time praising God. Hopefully many people who came to Spiedie Fest over the 3 days heard the message of true Hope from the Hope Tent of which Davis College was apart of. I believe many seeds of the Gospel were planted. To God be the Glory.
