Brooklyn and John A. Davis
Last Saturday I went to New York City. It was a beautiful day with the temperature around 70 degrees all day with plenty of sun. In the blog post: 1934 Theologue: The Story of John A. Davis Part 5: "Do the Work of the Evangelist" the writer of the 1934 Theologue recounts John A. Davis' campaigns in the city of Brooklyn. When I was looking at Brooklyn I was thinking of these campaigns and what ripple effects might still be occurring as a result of John A. Davis' willingness to preach the Gospel 100 years ago.
